Today I gave up and stuck the kid in the car and went to the drive through Starbucks- which is just far enough away for her to fall asleep on the way to. Tomorrow I am enlisting my dad to take her out in the stroller. I can't walk too far right now without contractions, so it doesn't really work for me right now. I don't actually mind walking with her normally. Keep in mind that I am also normally at work, so there is that, too. God bless Mrs. H, is all I can say. She is a woman with worth beyond rubies, or whatever the hell the quote says.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, here is my current shadow. Ack.
That pink bit is my massive stomach. Blargh.
I have been getting a fair amount of knitting in, now that I am home. I have recently finished a kid's hat, a gift scarf or two, and I have started a million projects because I am a glutton for punishment. R got me "The Expectant Knitter" for my birf-day, and I started the kid's legwarmers this week.
On an unrelated note, do you know how it feels to see someone do something that you try to accomplish all the time without any seeming effort? My step dad took these pics of Peanut on Thanksgiving. Can I just say, wow?
The colors are so deep and vivid. I know I just got a new camera, but his makes me seriously jealous....

Ahhhh! Peanut is gorgeous! Your belly is HUGE! Have that baby already, darn it. *snicker*
Thanks- I think she's pretty adorable, too.
This is what a short-waisted person pregnant with a GIANT baby looks like. Argh, huh? Peanut was 8 lbs 13 oz. Any guesses how big this one will be? I am guessing more. (Sigh). My guess is about 9 lbs 6 oz, if I go to the scheduled C-date. (Dec. 30).
Good Grief! None of mine were over 6 1/2. Do you think you'll make it that far? Big babies!!!
Well, Peanut was a 41 week induction that ended up in a c-section (she never dropped). My sister and I were I think 7 and 14 days late (about) and I was induced. I think my family seems to have giant babies late. I hope I'll go a little earlier (like before Christmas).
We'll see, I guess.
Hang in there, kid. She's gotta come out eventually. ^_^
That pix is so you; I love it. Did you grow in the last 3 days that you've been gone? Wow you think this one is going to be bigger than Peanut? BTW, she is absolutely adorable. Get some rest, momma!
